Who is actually behind Diamond White’s aligners?

First things first: According to the official website, there are currently no Diamond White partner practices in Germany (yet).

The impression set for the start of tooth correction is also currently only sent within the UK.

In concrete terms, this means that the treatment is currently not available in Germany.

As soon as there is news, we will inform you here. Until then, we would still like to provide you with some information about the company here.

Diamond Whites Aligners Limited is a company founded in 2014 and based in the UK – in London to be precise.

The company specializes in the production and sale of invisible braces, also known as aligners. The range also includes various tooth whitening products.

Diamond White’s Aligner was founded by Dr. Richard Marques, who was already known for many years as a cosmetic dentist to the rich and famous.

His famous clients include Tom Daley, Russell Tovey, Rita Ora, Joey Essex and Jamie Redknapp.

What’s exciting, however, is that Dr. Richard Marques offers invisible aligners from competitor Invisalign at his Harley Street practice.

Basically, however, there is much less information about Diamond White’s aligners on the Internet than about competitors such as DrSmile.

The aligner provider is also much less represented on social media and YouTube.

We do not yet know whether treatment with Diamond White aligners will be available in Germany in the near future.

If you are currently looking for an aligner provider, we recommend DrSmile as an alternative.

DrSmile has already produced more than one million aligners and can look back on over 150,000 completed tooth corrections.

The company’s invisible aligners are already available in over 100 partner practices across Germany.

You can find more information about DrSmile here.

How does tooth correction with Diamond White aligners work?

Teeth straightening with Diamond Whites aligners offers a modern, comfortable solution for those who want a more beautiful smile without having to compromise on the aesthetics of traditional metal braces.

The concept is based on a series of custom-made, transparent plastic trays that are specially designed to gradually and gently move the teeth into the desired position.

Here we explain in detail how the process works step by step:

Step 1: Information and questionnaire

It all starts with a questionnaire on the Diamond Whites Aligner website.

Here you have to answer 30 questions so that the company can assess whether your individual malocclusion is suitable for treatment with the invisible aligners.

You can also find out more about the treatment and the costs on the website.

Step 2: Impression taking at home or 3D scan

If the treatment is suitable for you, the next step is to take impressions of your teeth.

Here you can choose whether you want to visit a dental practice for a professional 3D scan or take your own impressions at home.

The scan currently costs £99 and we would definitely recommend it.

This is because the dentist or orthodontist can not only take more precise impressions with modern 3D scanning technology.

He can also thoroughly examine your teeth again and ensure that there are no diseases that could be aggravated by the tooth correction.

The home impression kit also costs £99. If you opt for the treatment directly and pay in advance, the fee is included in the treatment price.

Step 3: 3D simulation and decision

Based on the impressions, Diamond Whites Aligner develops an individual treatment plan with 3D simulation that shows exactly how your teeth will shift step by step.

You will also be informed about the exact costs so that you can make a final decision for or against treatment with Diamond Whites aligners.

If you would like to have your teeth corrected, a contract is concluded and your aligners are sent to production and custom-made for you.

The aligner sets are designed in such a way that the teeth are moved step by step into the desired position.

You will therefore receive several aligner sets, which you wear in a specific order during treatment.

Step 4: Wearing the Diamond Whites aligners

As soon as your aligners are finished and sent to your home, you can start wearing them.

For optimum results, the aligners should remain in the mouth for 20 to 22 hours a day. The duration of treatment varies between 3 and 6 months.

They should only be removed for eating, drinking (except water) and daily tooth cleaning.

Every two weeks or so, you change your next set of aligners to initiate the next step of tooth movement.

Step 5: Regular checks

During tooth correction with Diamond White Aligners, you do not have to attend any appointments at a dental practice.

You can carry out all checks from home via the app – and here the aligner provider is actually more precise than many other competitors.

You will be asked to check in to the app online every week. You will receive a remote scan box that is linked to the app on your smartphone.

This way you don’t just send standard photos, but a complete dental scan every time.

Step 6: Completion of treatment and retention

Once you have worn all the aligner sets and your teeth have reached the desired position, the active phase of treatment is complete.

To ensure long-term results, it is important to start retention immediately after tooth correction.

So-called retainer splints prevent the teeth from moving back into their original position.

How much do Diamond White’s aligners cost?

If you have already taken a look at the Diamond Whites Aligner homepage, you have probably noticed that the company communicates its prices transparently.

Unlike competitors such as DrSmile, however, your malocclusion is not divided into mild, moderate or severe – instead, there is only one pricing model.

The regular cost of the dental correction is £1990, alternatively you can pay £41.44 per month in installments (60 months, 9.9% interest p.a. applies).

However, Diamond White’s aligners are currently being offered at a reduced price.

As of March 2024, a one-off payment of £1490 is due, so the company is offering a discount of £500.

The monthly installment is then only £31.27 (60 months, 9.9% interest p.a.).

Important to know: Unfortunately, the costs of correcting teeth in adults are not usually covered by health insurance.

However, we still recommend that you do not focus exclusively on price when choosing an aligner provider.

Instead, rely primarily on authentic reviews and research lots of testimonials on the Internet.

Who are Diamond Whites aligners suitable for?

Diamond White aligners are ideal for the treatment of mild to moderate malocclusions.

However, invisible braces can reach their limits with complicated malocclusions – such as severe overbite, underbite, crossbite or other types of malocclusion.

Incidentally, this applies to most aligner providers, including Smile Direct Club, Inman Aligner, Bestsmile, Harmonieschiene, Smileunion, Six Month Smiles, Braceless, Impress Aligner, LetSmile, NewSmile, Smilelign and PlusDental.

Currently, only Invisalign products or, alternatively, traditional braces can be considered for serious tooth corrections.

Treatment with Diamond Whites aligners is also only possible from the age of 18, as teeth and jaws should no longer be growing.

Conclusion on Diamond White’s aligners: Does the product deliver what it promises?

Even if only a few authentic reviews of Diamond White’s aligners can be found on forums and social media, it is clear that discreet tooth correction is definitely possible with the company’s aligners.

This is also confirmed by the ratings on the independent rating portal Trustpilot. Here, the Diamond Whites aligners achieve a good result with 4.2 out of 5 stars from over 3000 reviews.

As already mentioned, Diamond Whites aligners are not yet available in Germany.

For this reason, the established provider DrSmile remains our recommendation for your teeth correction. There is a wealth of experience on the Internet – and the price structure is transparent.

The company also offers not only a good price-performance ratio but also a satisfaction guarantee in case you are not one hundred percent happy with the result.
