She first moved to Erlangen, where she successfully completed her studies in German and sociology. But before she threw herself into working life, she was determined to treat herself to some time off and decided to fly to New Zealand for a year of work and travel. Here she discovered her love of travel, which she would later turn into a profession.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nBack in Germany, Franzi gained experience in PR and marketing as well as journalism and editing. But since her wanderlust did not decrease, she used every free minute to travel our beautiful planet. To further develop her editorial skills at the same time, she founded her sports and travel blog Coconut Sports<\/a> in 2014.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nFrom office job to self-employment\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAt some point, a hobby became an additional mainstay, and so, a few years later, Franzi decided to quit her office job and take the step into self-employment. In addition to her blog, she was gradually joined by more and more editorial clients and a part-time job as a flight attendant for a major German airline.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nFranzi came across the topic of aligners rather by chance when she worked for a customer in the dental sector for several years. During this time, she acquired in-depth knowledge in dental correction, dental care, dental malocclusions and diseases, and dental tourism. She has been able to deepen her expertise through regular exchanges with dentists and orthodontists, as well as a great deal of specialist literature.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThe topic of invisible braces excited Franzi so much that she became increasingly interested in aligner treatment herself. Because of her travel blog and the associated presence on social media, she couldn't help but smile into the camera herself time and again.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThere was always that one crooked tooth that bothered her a little bit. Definitely not so much that she would have gone for fixed braces with wires and brackets for correction. But now that there was such an easy and cheap way - why not? So she finally made the decision to start aligner treatment herself.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThe foundation of About That Smile\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThe idea for About That Smile came from many conversations with Co-Founder Tim, who was also familiar with the topic of invisible braces. They were both dissatisfied with the sometimes incomplete or even simply wrong information offered on the Internet. In addition, they would have liked more detailed personal experience reports and honest evaluations at the beginning of their dental treatments.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nOn About That Smile, Franzi would therefore like to impart sound knowledge to all those who are interested in straightening their teeth with the invisible dental aligner.
