In Germany alone, DrSmile cooperates with partner practices in more than 100 cities. So you can be sure that you will find at least one location near you.

In the next step you can select the nearest (or your desired) partner location.

To do this, simply enter your city, your postal code or, alternatively, your favorite partner location directly in the search field.

All partner practices of DrSmile are then displayed in a list sorted by distance. Under the name of the partner practice you will also find their address.

You will also find out if a shuttle service to the practice is offered. This is free of charge and will take you to and from your DrSmile appointment.

You have found the right partner practice? Then click the blue “Book” button now.

The next step opens the appointment overview with all available appointments in the coming days.

You can simply click on your desired date. A form for data entry will now open.

First enter your first name, last name, email address and a phone number. You must also confirm that you are over 18 years old and therefore of legal age.

You can also indicate if you would like to use the free shuttle or receive information about discounts, sweepstakes and products from DrSmile.

Now you just have to click the “Book” button one last time. You will then receive a booking confirmation by email with all the important information about your upcoming appointment.

Book Dr Smile appointments: Here’s how to proceed after selecting an appointment

After booking your DrSmile appointment, it’s time to visit your chosen partner practice.

During the initial appointment, you will find out whether your individual malocclusion can be corrected with DrSmile aligners.

To find out, the dentist or orthodontist will make a digital impression of your teeth (3D scan). Based on this, an individual treatment plan is created in the laboratory.

The teeth and gums are also checked. This is because correction with aligners is absolutely safe only for healthy teeth.

If tartar has formed in your mouth, you should definitely have your teeth professionally cleaned before starting treatment.

Book DrSmile appointments: Now is the time to decide

A few days after your initial appointment, DrSmile will send you your treatment plan, which will also tell you how much the treatment will cost.

Please note that health insurance companies will only cover orthodontic treatment for adults in exceptional cases.

However, it is always possible to pay for the dental correction with DrSmile in low monthly installments.

Together with the treatment plan, you will also receive a simulation that already tells you what your teeth will look like after the correction is complete.

You can then decide for or against the treatment with DrSmile. There is no cost until you sign the treatment plan.

The invisible dental trays will then be conveniently delivered to your home by mail. You can then start wearing the aligners immediately and soon enjoy your radiant smile.

Cancel DrSmile appointment: Is it that easy?

An important appointment, illness or everyday chaos: sometimes our plans are simply thrown out of whack.

Fortunately, DrSmile appointments can always be canceled without any problems. Because the booking – like the initial appointment – is always non-binding and not associated with any costs.

Note, however, that the appointment must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance via the link. After that, changes are only possible by phone.

Cancel DrSmile appointment – how do I proceed?

Need to cancel your DrSmile appointment? No problem at all. Just click on the cancellation link you received in the confirmation email. You will find the link at the bottom of the email.

You can easily book new DrSmile appointments as soon as you have cancelled your old appointment. To do so, simply go back to the booking mask via this link.

DrSmile IPR appointment booking – when and where is it possible?

You may need to book an IPR appointment before or during the course of your teeth straightening with DrSmile. IPR is also called “stripping”.

This is an“Approximal Enamel Reduction” in which approximately 0.2mm of your enamel is polished.

In this way, more space is created, which allows your teeth to shift. IPR is only ever planned when it is unavoidable.

IPR does not hurt your teeth because the enamel on all teeth is 1.5 to 3mm thick.

When exactly you need to book your DrSmile IPR appointment at your partner practice can be found either in your treatment plan or in your aligner box.

You should plan on approx. 30 to 45 minutes for the appointment. Very important: Don’t forget to bring your aligners!

Your dentist or orthodontist will need the current aligner pair and the following aligner pair for the IPR.

Example: If your IPR is during the week for Step 7, bring the Step 7 and Step 8 aligner pair to the appointment.
